Birth-data and calculation limitations

Chart results depend on the accuracy of the entered birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates and historical time zone. Small errors can affect the Ascendant and divisional charts. Place/time-zone lookup is provided as a convenience and should be verified when accuracy is important.

Different Jyotish traditions can use different Ayanamshas, house systems, node conventions, aspect rules, Yoga definitions and strength calculations. The app displays or documents the convention it implements where possible; a different convention can produce a different result.

Sources and software accuracy

The project uses deterministic software and regression tests to reduce calculation errors, but no software is guaranteed to be error-free. Where a component is not sufficiently validated, the application may label it partial/pending or withhold a final total rather than present false precision.

Third-party services and advertisements

Birthplace search, advertising and external reference links may involve third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices. Advertisements are supplied by third parties such as Google AdSense and are not recommendations, endorsements or astrological advice from Jyotish Path.
