Graha Drishti versus Drik Bala
Do not mix full-sign teaching aspects with the degree-based aspect component used in Shadbala.
Graha Drishti in the course lessons answers a structural question: which houses/signs receive a planet’s full aspect under the selected Parashari profile?
Drik Bala in the Shadbala module answers a different quantitative question. It uses degree-based angular relationships and contributes a measured component to the audited strength calculation.
A house can therefore receive a full-sign Graha Drishti even though the exact angular geometry produces a different Drik Bala magnitude. The two outputs should not be expected to match one-for-one.
Likewise, a degree-based interaction relevant to Drik Bala does not automatically create one of the course’s full-sign aspect flags.
Keep the labels explicit in notes: “full Graha Drishti” for the structural rule and “Drik Bala contribution” for the Shadbala calculation.
How to read it
- Choose the technique first.
- For structural aspect study, use the full-sign rule table.
- For Shadbala Drik Bala, use the degree-based lab output.
- Do not substitute one result for the other.
- Label the technique in your written evidence.
Key points
- Graha Drishti and Drik Bala answer different questions.
- One is structural; one is degree-based quantitative context.
- Technique labels prevent accidental rule mixing.
Do not conclude that the Shadbala Drik value proves or disproves a full-sign Graha Drishti flag.
Apply this lesson to a chart
- Open one chart in Kundli Lab and Shadbala Lab.
- Record one full Graha Drishti.
- Record the relevant Drik Bala output separately and explain why they are different layers.
