MODULE 4 · LESSON 4.6

Jupiter: 5th, 7th and 9th full aspects

Learn Jupiter’s two special full aspects plus the ordinary opposition.

Jupiter gives the ordinary full 7th-place aspect and additional full aspects to the 5th and 9th places from itself in this teaching profile.

Because the rule is relative, Jupiter in House 3 aspects Houses 7, 9 and 11. The same Jupiter moved to another house would produce a different set of targets.

When Jupiter aspects an empty house, the contact is still recorded at the house level. When planets occupy the target house, the same aspect also becomes part of those planets’ incoming-aspect evidence.

Do not let a Jupiter aspect erase difficult or contradictory evidence. The house lord, occupants, dignity and other aspects remain part of the reading.

For learning, first label the contact simply as “Jupiter full aspect.” Add benefic/malefic or topic-specific interpretation only after checking the selected natural/functional rule profiles.

STEP BY STEP

How to read it

  1. Locate Jupiter.
  2. Count 5th, 7th and 9th places.
  3. Record target houses.
  4. Check occupants and house lords.
  5. Only then add interpretive meaning.
REMEMBER

Key points

  • Jupiter aspects 5/7/9 from itself.
  • Empty houses can still receive an aspect.
  • A traditionally supportive aspect does not cancel contradictory chart factors.
WORKED EXAMPLE

Apply it to a chart

Jupiter in H3 → H7 by 5th aspect, H9 by 7th aspect, H11 by 9th aspect.

⚠ Common mistake

Do not call every Jupiter contact “good” before checking lordship, dignity and the receiving house.

DO IT YOURSELF

Apply this lesson to a chart

  1. Choose Jupiter in a chart.
  2. Calculate all three full targets.
