Saturn: 3rd, 7th and 10th full aspects
Learn Saturn’s special 3rd and 10th full aspects and keep the counting directional.
Saturn has the ordinary full 7th-place aspect and special full aspects to the 3rd and 10th places from itself in this course profile.
Saturn in House 6 therefore aspects House 8 by the 3rd, House 12 by the 7th and House 3 by the 10th aspect. The wrap from 12 back to 1 is part of normal counting.
The 10th-place aspect is especially easy to miscount because it often crosses the House 12 boundary. Write the sequence instead of doing it mentally when learning.
As with Mars and Jupiter, a Saturn aspect is first a relationship in the chart geometry. Interpretation comes after Saturn’s lordship, dignity, conjunctions and the target-house context are known.
If several planets aspect the same house, keep all contacts visible. Do not replace multiple pieces of evidence with one strongest-sounding planet.
How to read it
- Locate Saturn.
- Count 3rd, 7th and 10th places.
- Write wrap-around counting explicitly when needed.
- Inspect target houses.
- Then combine Saturn condition with the target context.
Key points
- Saturn aspects 3/7/10 from itself.
- The 10th target often needs wrap-around counting.
- Multiple incoming aspects should all remain visible.
Apply it to a chart
Saturn in H6 → H8 by 3rd aspect, H12 by 7th aspect, H3 by 10th aspect.
Do not mistake “10th aspect” for “aspect to the natal 10th house.” It means the 10th place counted from Saturn.
Apply this lesson to a chart
- Find Saturn in D1.
- Calculate its three full targets.
- Choose one target and list every other planet also aspecting that house.
