MODULE 6 · LESSON 6.11

Chandra-Mangala Yoga

This course automates the conjunction form and labels broader aspect variants as a separate convention.

The narrow form used by this engine is Moon and Mars in the same sign. Classical conjunction texts clearly describe this pairing, while later yoga traditions also circulate mutual-aspect variants.

To avoid silently mixing schools, the automated detector reports only the conjunction form. A future source-profile setting can add alternative variants explicitly.

As always, the presence of the combination is not a guaranteed financial or psychological outcome.

Treat every Yoga as a rule audit. Convert the Yoga name into explicit conditions, identify the planets/houses involved, and mark each condition true or false. A name should never be produced before its conditions have been checked.

Formation and strength are different questions. After a Yoga forms, dignity, combustion, functional role, relevant Vargas and timing can change how prominently it is traditionally read; the existence check itself should remain transparent.

STEP BY STEP

How to read it

  1. Read the exact rule profile.
  2. List every required condition.
  3. Check each condition against the chart.
  4. Mark formed only when the profile’s conditions pass.
  5. Assess condition/strength/timing separately.
REMEMBER

Key points

  • Yoga detection is a condition check, not a keyword search.
  • Different texts can define similarly named Yogas differently.
  • A formed Yoga is not a guaranteed event.
⚠ Common mistake

Do not combine conditions from different source profiles and then call the result “classical.”

DO IT YOURSELF

Apply this lesson to a chart

  1. Open Yoga Lab and choose one Yoga.
  2. Read every pass/fail condition before looking at the final status.
  3. Explain in your own words why the Yoga formed or failed.
